Marc A. Pifko

Founding Partner

With over 20 years of experience as a corporate attorney, Marc represents some of the financial industry’s largest and most successful buy-side institutions. Marc has deep experience representing clients in the purchase and sale of distressed loans and securities, and on the negotiation of a wide spectrum of commercial contracts. Clients appreciate Marc’s keen insight and perspective, as well as his practical, solution-focused approach that always keeps the client’s goals and business objectives at the forefront.

Marc also devotes significant time to a host of community and charitable institutions.

Marc lives on Long Island with his family. When he’s not working, Marc might be found grilling for family and friends, walking on the boardwalk, relaxing with a fine cigar, or enjoying a New York Rangers game.

Kyndall Slotemaker

Associate

Kyndall Slotemaker joined the Pifko Law team as an associate in 2024.

Kyndall’s practice focuses on drafting and negotiating a broad array of commercial contracts, including Confidentiality Agreements, Joinders, Non-Reliance Letters, Engagement Letters, Vendor Agreements, MSAs, and LOIs / MOUs.

Kyndall also advises clients on secondary market transactions, including the purchase and sale of distressed loans, private securities, bankruptcy claims, and other obligations of distressed companies.

Prior to joining Pifko Law, Kyndall worked at a boutique international law firm, where she represented various international luxury hotel operators, owners, and developers on diverse corporate transactions and the expansion of their operations.

Kyndall earned her B.A. in International Business at San Diego State University, and her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law. Kyndall is bilingual in English and Spanish.

When she is not working, Kyndall can often be found outdoors, enjoying hiking and camping, travelling, and attending live music performances.

Grace Friloux

Grace Friloux joined the Pifko Law team as an associate in 2025.  Prior to joining Pifko Law, Grace gained experience in healthcare law, in both law firm and in-house roles, where she developed a strong interest in general transactional and commercial law.  
 
Grace earned her B.A. in English Writing and Rhetoric at Nicholls State University and her J.D. from Texas A&M School of Law.  
 
Outside of the office, Grace enjoys spending quality time with her family and pursuing hobbies including hunting, fishing, reading, and baking.

Jonathan Weiser

Special Counsel

Jonathan Weiser serves as Special Counsel to Pifko Law.

Jonathan has more than 20 years of diverse legal experience, including corporate law, commercial contracts, real estate, and estate planning. For much of his career, Jonathan has represented broker-dealers and other market participants in the purchase and sale of distressed loans and securities, domestically and internationally, and he brings this expertise to Pifko Law and our clients.

Jonathan is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. With an international perspective and proficiency in six languages, Jonathan nonetheless remains a Philadelphian at heart.

Aviva Weiss

Paralegal

Aviva is a skilled corporate paralegal with significant experience in drafting commercial contracts. Her diligence, dedication and good-natured disposition have made her an invaluable member of the Pifko Law team.

At Pifko Law, Aviva assists with contract review, client communication and myriad administrative matters.

Prior to joining Pifko Law, Aviva worked as a litigation paralegal for a securities class action law firm, and as a regulatory examiner for NASD (n/k/a FINRA).
